Welcome to our Video page! This is a collection of videos that wehave put together for you to enjoy from some of the training we have completed over the last few years. I generally use this footage as self-debrief footage post-practice or display

as a learning aid to my training. If you have any comments or would like to know more, please email me at [email protected]

2023 – (Below) Another satisfied customer after our most popular flight “The Battle of Britain Experience”

2023 – (Below) A promotional video showing the AOP Auster (Millie G).ย This aircraft was famous for its slow flight to allow artillery spotters in the aircraft to spot the impact of artillery shells and direct fire on artillery ground units. However, this actual Auster did see active service in Korea in the 1950s. We have photos of it it dropping special forces soldiers by parachute in action, and other photos of it on operations with 1913 flights that flew over 9000 missions between them!

2022 – (Below) – Training video for the TED-20 Wabbit tractor! Yes, not as exciting as looping and rolling the Harvard, but a very important part of our operation nonetheless!

2022 – (Below) – Training video for the undercarriage mechanism on the T6 Harvard Wacky Wabbit during its annual maintenance in February 2022.

2022 – (Below) – Training video for the locking tailwheel mechanism on the T6 Harvard Wacky Wabbit during its annual maintenance in February 2022.

2021 –ย  (Below) – This is a bunch of personal footage from Pilot Andy Goodall put together from his adventures in 2021. Quite a year as he flew the L4 Cub, Tiger Moth, Harvard, Texan and the Hawker Hurricane. Plenty of airshow footage from the UK and Turkey.

2021 – April 2021 Enormous thanks to Andy Goodall from T6 Harvard Ltd for giving me the opportunity to go up in his beautiful Harvard and experience it first-hand. In the video, Andy talks us through the cockpit, takes us up for some aerobatics and tells us a bit about how he got into the front seat of the Harvard. To see the original simulator video that shows Harvard in more detail in the sim click this link – https://youtu.be/RhXV-ljTnfMโ€‹ To visit the treasure trove of information and book a flight check out www.t6harvard.com You can also download the beautiful repaint by Matt Wynn and T-6 authority Martin Pengelly from this website.

2021 –ย April 2021 saw the Wabbit over Duxford showing off her new smoke system. It’s such a great advantage to have a smoke when displaying the Harvard, not many Harvards have smoke in the UK (if any) so we are very unique in this area and as you can see enhances what is already a great show.

2021 – So as there is no flying due to Covid let’s take a look at this amazing A2A flight sim! ย – One of the real pleasures of flying warbirds in the sim is when you have an opportunity to fly a rendition of a real warbird. In this video, we fly a much loved UK based Harvard, Wacky Wabbit, a tribute to the Desert Air Force, which you can actually fly in as a passenger or as a qualified pilot converting to type. This is a beautifully done repaint by Matt Wynn, Martin Pengelly & Shane Clayton. On this flight, we take Wacky Wabbit from Wycombe Air Park across to Duxford, where this beautiful aeroplane, which is a tribute to the Desert Air Force, has thrilled many people. Who can forget that wonderful Harvard sound as she rips through the air with those supersonic propeller tips!

2020 (Below) Pilot Andy Goodall performed these two practice aerobatic displays in T-6J Harvard IV, G-BJST, ‘Wacky Rabbit’, at IWM Duxford Airfield on Saturday 19th December 2020. As you can hear in the film, there was quite a strong and constant south-westerly wind. This is a mixture of blended footage from the outside of the aircraft and inside. Nice short 1-minute movie.

The film that I’ve put together was done using 2 cameras using full HD and AVCHD media quality with various shutter speed settings from full auto down to 1/60, as I was also taking the opportunity to do a camera test. The cameras used were both Sony FDR-AX53s. Thanks to Andy, for giving 2 fine practice displays – just about the only flying of the day – to the small crowd of visitors at IWM Duxford and well done for ‘nailing’ that three-point landing with USAF F-15 pilots and staff from RAF Mildenhall clearly and enthusiastically enjoying the display.

2020 – (Below) December 2020 at Duxford making 2 practice displays in one day! This came as a real surprise due to the national Covid restrictions! I was amazed post-March that I got any flying done with all the media madness going on but hey ho at least I managed to get a good 30 hours of training during this crazy year which will no doubt go down in history for many reasons! In the below video the low December winter sun plays havoc as its blinding the pilot during the aerobatic manoeuvres. During this display practice, there was a strong crosswind from the south blowing me towards the crowd line so many adjustments and corrections had to be made to stay on the display line. The GoPro didn’t record any sound so I added some Meat Loaf just for fun!

2020 – (Below)Flying formation with the 1940 vintage NA64 YALE from Duxford to Old Buckingham via Fenland and back to Duxford. This was the first time I had formated with the Yale flown by Ian Jones. We kept the speed down to around 100 mph, which made life easy for me in the Harvard having lots of power to stay with the slower YALE. The YALE has 420 HP compared to the 600 HP in the Harvard, although the YALE is around 1000 pounds lighter! A nice combination of WW2 trainer’s formation makes for a unique airshow display, lots of noise, especially from the YALE in fine pitch!

2020 โ€“ย ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ท ย (Below) September 13th, Andy displayed the T6 Harvard in a formation flight with the stunning 1947 ย Cessna 195 flown by the legendary warbird pilot Lee Proudfoot. Following the duo, Andy went into a 10-minute solo routine. (No sound)

2020ย ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ทย (Below) A compilation video from some flying in Turkey recently at the MSO Air and Space Museum at Sivrihisar Air Park in Turkey 27th – 29th February 2020. This is basic raw footage training only and working on the display routine for the 2020 airshow.

2020 ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ทย ย (Below) Performing at the September Airshow at SUSHM Airpark in Turkey 2019.ย This was a top side pass performed for the photographers on the “media hill” at the end of one of the weeks display routines.

2019 ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ทย ย (Below) Performing at the September Airshow at SUSHM Airpark in Turkey 2019 – SHG Airshow is an international organization organized annually by Sivrihisar Sportive Aviation Society at Sivrihisar General Aviation Center Necati Artan Facilities and it addresses the aviation fans from every age. Besides emphasizing the significance of the aviation culture.

2019ย  ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง (Below) First flight of the New Year, 27th January 2020 – A great start to 2020 with a Display Authorisation (DA) renewal and upgrade. This year cleared 500 feet of standard aerobatics and a flypast of 100 feet. So looking forward to performing in the UK this year with a fresh routine. It looks like we will have a busy international display season this year with Turkey and Germany already confirmed. Hoping to do more UK shows this year.

May 13thย ย ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ทย 16th ย 2019 once again saw me in the SUSH Air Park in Turkey flying the Harvard “Happy Hour” This is a training camp kindly sponsored by Ali ฤฐsmet ร–ztรผrk in preparation for the September 2019 air show. ย Sivrihisar Airshow

May 13thย ย ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ทย 16th ย 2019 once again saw me in the SUSH Air Park in Turkey flying the Harvard “Happy Hour” This Harvard is a mint ex SAAF warbird that has a new-looking interior with a full GPS fit and working HSI and VOR etc. It’s like flying a new, tight aircraft straight out of the factory! I enjoy the freedom of the sky Turkey offers to practice display routines for the 2019 airshow season. The Air Park is situated away from noise complainers and controlled airspace, so a pilot can really feel the freedom to experiment. You have to be a little careful, though as the airfield is around 2700 feet above sea level. This was fine in 8*C however now in May at 20*C and with temperatures rising, I could really feel the performance of the T6 change!

Abingdon Airshow May 2018

This was my 3rd airshow in the UK and a flat display, that is to say, no aerobatics just a flypast routine making lots of noise with a wing over at the turn points. I should be displaying at Abingdon again in 2019 with another flypast routine however this time in the NA 64 YALE.

Mike Day has a great day on the 15th December 2017 in the Wacky Wabbit!

Curved approach to land

ย Crosswind landing – 15 gusting 25-knot crosswind

I really love this headgear set up. It’s the original B type flying helmet with the D type mask as used in the Battle of Britain and recently seen in the latest film ‘Dunkirk’ The goggles are original 1930s RAF MK II goggles as used by pilots in the Battle of Britain… Extremely comfortable set up and definitely my preference for the flying season 2018 -!

Aerobatics from 500 feet base in G-BUKY Harvard 4

The pilot on this occasion was Neil Oakman demonstrating a smooth, accurate display in G-BUKY a Harvard 4. Loops and Cubans were initiated from 500 feet agl which is quite low in a piece of heavy iron with a low powered engine such as the R1340 600 HP radial… All moves here are expertly executed and demonstrate the agility of the Harvard in the right hands.
