The Harvard makes the ideal trainer for the Hawker Hurricane as the seating position and some of its systems are very similar. This comes as no surprise as the Harvard was the advanced trainer used during WW2 for this very purpose! Pilots would get there wings on the Harvard before going to an operational training unit or OTU where they would then convert to either the Spitfire or the Hurricane, especially in the UK…. Some pilot even went from the Harvard and ended up flying Lancasters.
