The T6 Harvard Team
Our aircraft is maintained to a very high standard and is subject to regular inspections and maintenance checks. Occasionally, scheduled maintenance or unexpected technical issues may mean we have to postpone a flight. If this happens, we will contact you and arrange an alternative date as soon as possible.
Safety always comes first.
We only use experienced and professional pilots. Occasionally, a pilot may become unavailable due to illness or operational reasons. If this happens, we will contact you and arrange a new suitable date.

Yes. Flight bookings are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
In some cases, yes. Extensions may be available for a small fee. Please see our Terms and Conditions for full details.
Yes. Flight bookings are transferable, provided the new passenger meets our age, weight, height and health requirements.
All flights are transferable to another person. Refunds are only available under certain conditions. Please see our Terms and Conditions.
Changing a booking can be difficult as pilots, ground crew and aircraft scheduling are arranged in advance. A cancellation may affect the whole flying day and other customers. Please see our Terms and Conditions before requesting a change.
Before your flight, you will receive a full safety briefing covering the aircraft, cockpit, emergency procedures, communication with the pilot and what to expect during the experience.
You can book online through our website. Direct bookings may also be arranged by emailing [email protected]. If you have booked through an agent such as Into The Blue, please contact us to arrange your flight date.
You can pay online using major debit or credit cards. We may also accept direct bank transfer for direct bookings. Payment options may vary depending on how you book.
Yes. The minimum age for a T6 Harvard Experience Flight is 16.
Yes. The maximum height for flying in the T6 Harvard is 6 feet 5 inches.
Yes. The maximum passenger weight is 18 stone, 252 pounds or 115 kg.
Please wear comfortable clothing. The T6 Harvard can become warm in the cockpit, so a light jacket is normally sufficient. Sunglasses and a baseball cap may be useful.
For safety and communication reasons, we provide compatible aviation headsets for the flight. Clear communication between passenger and pilot is essential.
Yes, aerobatics are available on selected flight packages. Depending on the package booked, manoeuvres may include loops, rolls, steep turns and other classic warbird manoeuvres.
Most customers are absolutely fine, but aerobatics can affect people differently. If you are concerned, please seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist about non-drowsy motion sickness medication before flying.
If the weather is unsuitable for safe flying, your flight will be postponed and rebooked for another suitable date.
Yes. Friends and family are welcome to come along and watch from designated areas. No alcohol is permitted on the airfield, and dogs or other pets are not allowed.
No. For safety reasons, personal recording devices are not permitted in the aircraft, as loose items could interfere with the controls.
Yes. We offer onboard video using our VBOX flight recording system. This is available for £50 per USB. The footage is normally raw, unedited footage from take-off to landing.
Yes. We usually offer a 10% discount for groups of 8 or more.
We operate from various UK airfields including Peterborough Conington, Old Warden, Fowlmere and other selected locations. Please check our booking calendar for current availability.
Yes. On suitable flight experiences, your instructor will allow you to take control of the aircraft when it is safe to do so.
Our experience flights are introductory flying lessons conducted with a qualified instructor. You are not simply a passenger.
No. Most of our customers have never flown an aircraft before. Your instructor will guide you throughout the flight.
In many cases, experience flights may be loggable as instructional flight time. Please ask us before your flight if this is important to you.
Yes. The Harvard was designed as an advanced military trainer, and your flight will be carefully managed by an experienced instructor.
Yes. A T6 Harvard flight makes a fantastic gift for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, Father’s Day, retirement presents and special occasions.
Yes. Gift vouchers are available and make a memorable present for anyone interested in aviation, history or adventure.
Please allow around 2 to 3 hours for your visit. This includes arrival, briefing, photographs, the flight itself and post-flight time.
Yes. We encourage customers to take photographs with the aircraft before and after their flight.
Yes. Family and friends may take photographs from approved areas at the airfield.
Yes. You will meet your pilot before flying and have the opportunity to ask questions.
Please tell your pilot. Many customers are nervous before flying, and we will do everything we can to make you feel comfortable and relaxed.
Yes. Aerobatics are optional and only carried out on appropriate packages. Your comfort and safety are always the priority.
Yes. Simply tell your pilot, and the flight will be adjusted immediately.
If you book an aerobatic package, you may experience moderate G-force during certain manoeuvres.
Depending on the package, you may experience loops, barrel rolls, aileron rolls, Cuban Eights, steep turns and combat-style manoeuvres.
Yes. The aircraft is fully insured and operated in accordance with relevant UK aviation requirements.
Yes. The aircraft is maintained by specialist engineers and operated under strict maintenance requirements.
Yes. The Harvard is an authentic military training aircraft and one of the most famous advanced trainers in aviation history.
The Harvard trained thousands of military pilots and became known as “The Pilot Maker”. Many pilots trained on the Harvard before progressing to aircraft such as the Spitfire, Hurricane and Mustang.
The Harvard is the aircraft many fighter pilots trained on before moving to frontline fighters. It delivers a powerful, authentic warbird flying experience.
The exact route depends on weather, air traffic, airfield operations and safety requirements. Your pilot will always aim to provide the best experience possible.

Our main flying season usually runs from spring to autumn, with winter periods often used for maintenance.
Most of our operating airfields have parking available. Facilities vary depending on the location.

OLD WARDEN – Where do I go on arrival? Under normal circumstances, car parks are easily identifiable; however, marshallers will direct cars to your bays during Covid restrictions. The Wacky Wabbit ground crew should be easily identifiable, wearing a High Visibility vest and standing in the area by the control tower. (See yellow dot)Look out for our T6 Harvard Ltd Banners also by the tower. In any case, you will see the magnificent Wacky Wabbit parked up by the tower. Just head over to the tower and grab our attention; we don’t bite.

The postcode is SG8 7SH. Your GPS might take you to a gate right on the edge of a road – this is not the entrance. Proceed to Fowlmere village, and there will be a turning on the left after some speed bumps and opposite a row of houses. You will see signs for Modern Air and Fowlmere Airfield. The code for the gate is 1-3-5-7-Enter. Continue up the long drive, go straight over the concreted area, and when you see two bright orange bollards, turn right in front of them, continue along the lane and park near the other cars (before the barrier).
FENLAND – About Fenland Aero Club is the general aviation heartland of the Lincolnshire Fens, 10 miles to the southwest of Wash, between Peterborough and Boston, close to the market town of Spalding.
